Thinking of closing one of my chase cards

How long until you can reapply for the sign up bonus again ? I am thinking of closing my freedom and keeping my ink and csp. Possibly reapplying down the road for freedom for sign up bonus.

Re: Thinking of closing one of my chase cards

Thanks.

Hmm dunno if I should just keep it open. Trying to close cards that I don't really use. Bonus quarters are nice but i only really hit the bonus categories when Amazon is one.

if you are trying maximize your UR to get best value i think freedom is still an nice card to have. Groceries this quarter for me is going to get a decent workout, i think theres an chance i will max it out without MS or anything like that.

If you close any make sure you transfer credit limit to other card first

So based upon this how far in advance before applying do we need to cancel the card (assuming its been 24 months since getting bonus)? Also, it looks like the 24 months starts running once you get your bonus credited to your account and not from when you initially get the card?
