Re: To app or not to app?

Why not PC your better balance rewards to travel rewards? You can actually earn something with every dollar spent on the card, plus if it saves you $200 a year in FTF it makes you more money than the $120 trick you'd get with the more than minimum payments. And on top of that it's not a HP. If it will be $200 a year in fees, it seems like a no brainer to call and ask.

Re: To app or not to app?

I actually meant $200 in purchases, so roughly $2/year in fees. The Better Balance card is actually quite profitable for me. I have my T-Mo bill and MyFico subscription bill to it (approximately $43/mo) and get $120/yr. So 120/516= 23% rewards rate.

Ah, makes more sense. FTF's can add up but you can't even get a breakfast sandwich for $2 nowadays. I wouldn't sweat it.
