Re: Too many AU accounts?

Right, I understand the whole backdating thing for when he's gets his owe card, that was one of the main reasons I added him, what I don't understand is how the au account will show up on his report, will it say the card was opened 1/11? Because that's what it says on my report, or will it say March 2013, because that's when he was added?

I get that when he gets his own amex in a year or 2 that it will be back dated to 2013 and not 2011 to match when I got my card

Re: Too many AU accounts?

I can't say for sure which date it will report at, you would think it would report the same date as your's since that's the actual account age.

Amex BCE: $16.5k, Discover It: $5k, Chase Freedom Visa: $10k, Fidelity Amex: $7.5k, PenFed Cash Rewards Visa: $3.5k, CapOne Union Plus MC: $4.5k, Barclays Upromise MC: $5k, BoA Cash Rewards 123 MC: $1.5k

Re: Too many AU accounts?

My AU Discover account reports as 10/2002. I can't remember exactly when I was added but I know my parents didn't add me when I was 12. Closer to when I was 15. So it should be actual account age.

|| Barclaycard Rewards Visa $5500 || AMEX BCE $2000 || Discover IT $3000 || Amazon Rewards Visa $1800 ||
|| Chase Freedom $2700 || CSP $5000 || Chase Marriott Premier $7500 || Sallie Mae MC $3800 ||

FICO Scores: EX 752 (3/13/13) || EQ 782 (10/4/13) || TU 724 (1/18/13)

In the garden as of 10/12/2013

Re: Too many AU accounts?

It's listed as my oldest account and Amex's CreditSecure calculates it into my AAoA.
