Tried a CLI on marvel card via chat.... Is this a denial

tried via chat to get a CLI on the marvel card with a SL of 10k ..... Asked for 24k and was told "there was no immediate response it has been referred to underwriting" (gave me a reference number  and a number to call)

is is this a denial 

(I just got a CLI  on the chevron visa on Saturday from 2.5k to 10k)

(don't need it, just figured since I just took an hp: might as well maximize it, unless it really is a sp if done via chat)

Wow that is a super sl for the Marvel, i would think youd be golden for 25,000 as most of us who got approved with a way lower limit were able to get a higher cl. I think it would probably have been better to call Credit Solutions who could at least give you a yes or no within 2-3 minutes. But on the other hand , No instant decesion may be due to the recent Sync bank problems and are maybe now tightning the reighns? Just food for thought. Best of luck

Seems like everyone with the Marvel card had to call for a cli. I did, received a pleasant csr, got my cli. Went from 4k to 10k. Give em a jingle!

I just realized I received in the mail a letter prompting me to call in regarding the CLI that I was told I was denied for😕....... The letter is dated a few weeks ago (8/10).....

i dont have the phone number handy (does anyone know which phone number it is)

better question: since I was told it was a denial (after initially getting the infamous "7-10 day message) should I even call

im getting ready to put a large  purchase on it and would prefer not to use 90% of the CL

I'd call.   Often times, you can have success with Credit Solutions when chat didn't work.
