Tried to join Alliant...

Made my $10 donation to Foster for Success and then tried to join Alliant Credit Union.

Put in all my info and submitted, but then it told me I couldn't join online and would be notified by email after my application's been reviewed!

Any idea what could be happening here? Should I call or just wait?

Okay...another question too actually...I have two derogs on my EQ..do you think they may have an issue with these????

One is from 2006 (set to fall off any day now, actually), and the other is from 2012...am fighting it right now since it's from Midland and they can't prove I actually owe it...ha.

Will give it a couple days...haven't seen an inquiry yet but will check tomorrow.

It took a couple of days for my membership to be processed.  They sent me an email asking for verification docs - idk why my address has been the same for 5 years and my name matched my CR - whatever.  After sending the docs I called and they gave me my membership number. 

I would just call to make sure that's all they want....By the way... I did get a call fom them almost 2 weeks later asking me to unfreeze my ChexSystems record. For some reason they do not pull it at the same time. I know it was awhile after because I ad already revived the debit card, checks and welcome packet.
