Re: U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve - Bonus for Insurance Payments

Does the offer require any activation? If not, I'll just shift AR to the monthly payment for a while.  Nobody else gives a benefit for insurance other than my Gold card a few months ago.

There's no activation, but it seems to be targeted so if you're not targeted you probably won't get the extra points. Smiley Sad

Yes, quite likely no extra points. But adding basic points to my AR stash is no worse than most other cards I have.

LOL... you would think so, right?  smiley-laughing021.gif

The truth is I don't (usually) use it for anything that's not at the 3x rewards rate, so you would think they wouldn't like me very much.

That said, since I want to be sure to get the bonus this time I went ahead and made a payment to BCBS in addition to the State Farm payment they already get every month.  (State Farm is via Google Pay, and while that should 'count' I don't want to miss out on a technicality, LOL.)

U.S. Bank continues to be one of my most valuable lenders. Smiley Happy
