Hey Folks
Curious what CC everyone is using for their cell bills and why (protection? CB?)
Follow up: Does Google FI trigger the insurance? I've heard mixed reviews on here.
UPDATE: I had no idea this was going to be such a popular subject. Thanks to all. So through all of the research I've done since posting it almost looks like the WF Propel may be the best option. 3x on the bill + 600$ in protection with 25$ deductable. It didn't say sell bill triggers the 3x but a friend told me her Boost Mobile bill triggers it soooo maybe but likely YMMV.

Good Question?
As I forgot Could Be WF Propel or NFCU Flagship .. I will check and update.
Edit: looks Like I am using the US Bank Cash+ ,
I do not believe it has "protection" but I get 5% back on the bill. ..LOL
Paid for the phone outright, and use pre-paid service, pay for the whole year in advance.
Thanks! I'm pretty sure the Propel has it. I know UberCC has it too (secondary) and a few others but there has to be more than the 5ish I know of haha.
HSBC has cell phone protection. Not sure if it's on all cards, but it's on my old Platinum Rewards MC.

SDFCU Visa Signature. I am currently with SDFCU for 2% cash back plus phone insurance.
Navy Federal cards - I think all? Definitely the cash rewards.
I have SDFCU Secured Card. I wonder if it would cover the phone insurance. I'll call them tomorrow and find out.

I was just looking at Navy Fed when you posted. That is tempting. I'm with them but no current cards.
Thanks!

I think that is something they just added?, I have (2) HSBC cards (Premier World & Cash Rewards)
and did not notice at first. I just looked, they both have it.
Don't forget your $20 monthly credit on Schwab.
