How long do you estimate for TU to adjust?
In general, is there a particular order that you should apply for cards in when going on an app spree?
@MamboItaliano wrote:Still waiting for TU to adjust util %. Quick question:
Do you folks find more success with the companies I've outlined with an over-the-phone application or online apps?
I could actually NFCU in person because there is one down the street from me.
Online!
unless it's like macys which should be in store.

By tomorrow. If not tomorrow, Saturday for sure.
It's virtually always Experian, Equifax, then Transunion in order of updates.
HERE ARE THE RESULTS:
DW
NFCU Platinum - 3-5 Days
USAA Visa - Approved 6000
USAA AMEX - Approved 6000
Citi Simplicity - Approved 3500
Discover IT - (applying tomorrow)
BankAmericard Cash Rewards - 30 day decision
American Express Costco Card Charge - Approved
Me:
NFCU Platinum - 3-5 Days
USAA Mastercard - Approved 6000
USAA AMEX - Approved 4000
Chase Freedom - 10 Day Decision
Discover IT - (applying tomorrow)
BankAmericard Approved 8000
NFCU NReward (soon to be Flagship after PC tomorrow) CLI 3600 now 21600
American Express Blue Everyday - Approved unknown limit
Citi Simplicity - Declined
I'm a little worreid about the NFCU cards. The only outright decline was the Citi for me, but I think I dun goofed because they look like they pull EQ, not EX in Virginia.
As it stands, I'm sitting on 37.1k between DW and I plus whatever my limit on the AMEX blue is. This is without decisions in our favor. So likely a 40k+ day.
Any tips on my recons and calls that I'll be making tomorrow?

Call BofA and chase ASAP tomorrow AM!!
Citi decline? For?
Why you wait on Discover?
I'm worried about Navy.
Just did. 10k!
Will do on the Bofa and Chase.
Didn't say that I noticed.
TU should be showing a 5% on next update. Much better than where it was last month (like 20%).
More updates!
Amex Blue Everyday - Approved 10k
DW NFCU Visa Platinum - Approved 15k
My NFCU MC Platinum - Approved 5k (I thought I applied for the Visa, ok then)
Still going!
The love just keeps rolling this morning!!!
Me:
Chase Freedom - Approved 9k
We're currently at slightly above 75k added.
Can we break 100k for the spree between the two of us?
We're about to find out.
Haven't used TU yet.
Ugh ... checked just a minute ago and TU is STILL SHOWING THE OLD UTIL % (29%).
Experian has been updated since Monday.
C'mon guys, you're holding things up! I gots things to apply for!
EDIT: Addict, I just called Citi and it was declined for too many recent hard pulls. Thoughts?
