Hello,
I currently have a Cash+ Visa Signature card with US bank at around 60% utilization. (line is 10k)
I opened up this card in August 2018 for reference.
I am hoping to get a credit line increase to reduce my utilization and was hoping to know with more certainty if I would get a hard pull if I call customer service for a CL increaso or SP.
Tried the link to their landing page and stated they can't find my account (apparently bcause I don't have an invite for a CLI).
I have read of a user getting an utomatic CLI at 5 months, but not sure if this is random or the norm?
Should I call or wait a little?
Thanks
ok guys thanks!!
Could it be possible to request a CLI for $1500 ans still expect an auto CLI soon (maybe 5m or 8month into it as pikaboo?).

I'm not 100% but I'm thinking you get one per 6 months. If you make the request and it's approved, I'm thinking there wont be an auto cli for 6 months after that.
JMHO perhaps somebody else has a different experience.
CHEERS
I have had three US Bank cards which each got a 40% auto CLI after 9 to 10 months. 2009, 2011, and 2016.
I would be inclined to wait until 11 months have passed, to see what happens, then investigate requests for SP CLI.
And I have tried the $1,500 CLI Request thing, with no joy, so YMMV.
Is the 60% utilization on a 0% APR offer, or you are cycling $6,000 through the account on a regular basis?
oh forgot to ask if the $1500 cli can be requested after 6 months of account opening to have a good chance or no rule for that?
NBR525, I have 60% on 0apr until november.
I will be using cash to pay off another card at 38% util in march when that offer expires.
No other balances on cards and overall utilization is 18%.

I did get a SP $1500 cli but it was on my US Bank Fred Meyer MC. You're right though, there are no sure things in credit.
About 2 weeks later, they gave me the auto cli on my Cash+ $8000 > $12,000.
OP- I think it yes, wait 6 months after opening. And NRB's question on uti is a good one as it can affect approvals.
