In addition, I have a platinum account so that will get me another half percent and since I have gone over the $100 saved amount I will receive the additional $25 card. So, my rewards will be $135, or a 6 3/4% return. That is not bad. I love the card, and US Bank.
Congratulations on gaining great rewards. I too have been getting a great return in rewards. I am however convinced that this card is not sustainable for US Bank. I predict in the not too distant future the reward parameters will change. They are already practicing a bait and switch tactic by not issuing the Cash + to all who apply. I fully expect there will be a lowering of cash reward opportunity in the future. I will use it extensively until that sad day arrives.
+1
I felt that as soon as I noticed the card. I am just hoping it will still be around in 6 months.
I don't know, this card is getting advertised on their website. My guess is for them to get new customers in to their branches. The card is a good deal and is putting US Banks name on the map for once on the credit card market. From an advertising prospective it would not be a good choice for US Bank to change this card or stop issuing it.

STOP ME! LOL!
Its a great card, you should get it.
Anyone else getting approved for this card? What are your experiences?
I realize this is a little late posting, but just giving my input. I have had the Cash+ Card for about 5 months and I love it. The rewards cash back you receive I think is great, there may be other cards out there, but this one is definitely good from my perspective.
I also bank with US Bank, so I have been satisfied, I would recommend it.
Really? I thought that would count. I put all my movie and music items on my Citi Forward.
This card is very interesting. If the Cash+ went away, I would go for this.

Remember Citi Forward is a 5 point per dollar card, and not really a 5% unless you got the Citi Preferred in the mix.
Citi Forward is really 4 points (4 cent value) per dollar spent. If you also have a Citi Preferred it'll equal 5 cent value. If you have a Citi travel card ($120 annual fee or $495) you can get upto 1.33% for travel.
Also don't forget Amazon.com is still considered a bookstore Nice getting 5 points for buying a $800 projector
Is there a general consensus on what is the minimum credit score requirement to get this credit card?

I use it all the time on Amazon. I may go ahead and switch my Rhapsody and Hulu to the Cash +. The total is about 23 bucks for the bill, so I might not go through the hassle. Every other bill is paid through there.
Does the 5% for bill pay count if I pay my insurance lump sum?

So how long did it take you to get the card?
