I do find that strange!   My expectation from the "natural" reading would be that each point is increased by 20%, so basically 1% becomes 1.2%   When you get 5, that's 6%

So, I have to ask, is the 1.2, 2.2, 5.2 confirmed by experience or the bank?

But that would mean it would take less that ten thousand of spend to get the $20, and US Bank doesn’t really want to give anyone the $20.

The OP needs to hit $900, and I need to hit $1,150 before we will be able to confirm. But the T&C language spells out 1.2, 2.2, and 5.2.

What I want to see is the whale who spends $10k on a Cash+ ( after meeting the $300 to $1,150 threshold ) in a 60 day period to get the full $20 bonus.

If that's the same as my offer, it's more you have a chance to win even if you just use it once, but if you use it 10 times a month you will get 10 chances  (and more than 10 gives you 10).   And/or, bill stuff!    A true treasure trove:
