That is what my boy Fin said. I am going to take that advice for the sole purpose of avoiding inferior product switching. Do they manually review your cr at the branch, or just submit your app?
Save that print screen with the pre-qual offer for the Cash+ (just in case) and please let us know how it goes. Hope someone will chime in on the app process at the branch. Good luck
I have the hard copy that they sent in the mail too...
oh even better ...LOL

hmmm... you know me I'm not much for caring about INQ's.... they have given you 2 offers...
If I remember correctly also, USBank only really looks at INQ's from last 6 months and I think they are generally more concerned after 4 within that time but each product is a bit different but either way if you don't have a NUMBER of brand new accounts I would not worry about applying now... (that's what I got from underwriter when my partner was denied about year and a half ago)
My util will also be under 10% in Jan...it is closer to 20% currently.

Edited: I see this has been around for a couple of weeks now. I did not see on myFICO thread about it, however.
I just checked this out and am only qualified for a DEBIT CARD??? Really??? That's one more bank off my list...lol!
Speaking with experience, I took my pre-qual for a US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card sent to me in the mail right into a US Bank Branch. Saw a personal banker.who asked several questions and submitted the information. It took a day for review/approval. Note, with US Bank the credit card oriented products are run through a separate bank of theirs. The US Bank Personal Bankers work for the banking side of things. It is my belief (not proven fact) that the personal banker has some influence with the credit card people. In my case the banker got me 13.9% apr purchases and approval while the pre-qual called for 15.9%. Believe the banker called them too. So ... if this helped any great! Go for it...
It recommended the College Visa for me. I have checking & savings with them and another CC. And yes, I'm a student. No, I didn't apply ![]()
I do not have any cards with us bank, however I recently have received offers for the visa platinum and the cash + card. My 3 offers using the link were those cards and also the contour.
