US Bank and Capital One Secured Deposits - Return Time

Closed my secured Capital One and US Bank cards.  I recieved both checks in 6 business days.

Just throwing it out there for the sake of more information for everyone.

US Bank returned your secured deposit in 6 business days?  They told me it would be 30-60 days.  What was your deposit amount?

I faxed in my request to close.  My deposit amount was $300

When I closed my Cap1 secured account a couple of months ago, the rep said something like 30 days, but it shouldn't take that long and if I wanted to call back in a few days they would get it sent out to me.  I didn't want to bother with another call and ended up getting it in less than a week.

The rep was actually extremely helpful.  It probably helped that I was happily keeping 3 other Cap1 accounts and she was excited I was able to move on to the QS and Venture.
