Are US Bank pre approvals any good? Is it a HP or SP?

In my experience no they're not.
I've received "pre-selected" offers with designated APR's 3 times from them. Each time I was denied instantly. Each time it was an EX HP.
From now on their offers go directly into the shredder.

I thought US Bank pulled TU.

Almost overwhelmingly US Bank does pull TU, but like many other lenders that generally pull 1 particular credit bureau (Barclays -> Transunion, Discover -> Equifax, American Express -> Experian), there are always exceptions (usually based on geographical location of the application).
That said, if you're interested in US Bank, the odds are very strong in your favor that TU will be reviewed, so that is the report I would pay the most attention to. What is your TU FICO?
Also, off topic question, but how did you get such a weird limit on your Freedom?

Chase said I had too much credit with Chase and closed my Amazon Visa $1.500 CL and rased my Freedom by $1.251 CL so make since of that.

They are offering me the Cash + card. I like the 5% for electronics and department stores.

All 3 of mine were EX.
But they were business cards, so maybe there's a difference.
