Yes, they don't have it yet. Currently, they only offer to Mastercard only.

So the usual, different stories from different CSRs.
I particularly like the combination of what Cdnewmanpac and Ron1 were told.
a) You need to keep the old card for mag stripe use
b) Destroy the old card.
Maybe this is their way to stop mag stripe use!
Hmmm, a lot of conflicting info from the CSR's on this. No big deal either way I am sure it will be offered shortly
Well company letterhead letters state that there is a strip on the back, it wouldnt make sense to have a all pin at this point since 95% of retailors dont have it as of yet.

It is a new thing. The CSR doesn't know too much about the card. I know what to do when I get the card.
Ron.
I have Diners Club Chip and PIN card. I haven't used PIN and Chip feature on the card. I only used the PayPass portion on the card. Yes, Diners Club have both Chip and PIN and PayPass on one card. I haven't seen other issuers have both PayPass and Chip and PIN on one card.

i will have to call when they open because I was told that the Amex chip and pin where on there way to me.

We should be satisfied they knew what we were asking about and how to do it! lol
I applied for the USAA Amex and called after approval and was told it is only for MC at this time.
I called about 10 seconds after approval and they could not use the inital HP to PC from AMEX to MC.
Only way to receive it was to apply again.
through my conversation today they do not offer the chip and pin with the amex, but the rep did say it will be available in a couple of months
