Cdnewmanpac: Have you ever taken advantage of the advance straight into your checking account… So that you could avoid the fee? Or does doing this negate any special offer rate on BT?

This offer also applied to convenience checks, although I used it for a bt. I've never used convenience checks, but if there are no fees, I might look into them.
In wallet: Ink Plus 10k, AMEX TE 25k. In bag: CSP 16k, USAA WMC 15k, Hyatt 13k, United MPE 12k, AMEX HHonors 3k. In SD: Cap 1 QS 5k, Discover IT 7k. FICO 08 says my EQ is now 844, was 510 in 2010.

My understanding is that as long as you transfer the advance directly into your USAA checking account, there is no fee.
