I have both, they both have their perks.

This is my observation:

NFCU gives higher limits, great rates on autos, I recently bought new and refinanced with NFCU, easiest car buying experience ever

USAA can't be beat in insurance, so far that I've been able to find, they have higher interest rates on CC's but that all goes off your credit as well
