Ive never seen a post go so long with no Barclays bashing. Weird
Probably because this is arguably their best card

What card is giving 5% back at restaurants? I thought 4% was the best card, unless it comes up as the 5% quarter for Discover or Freedom? Cash+ gives 5% at fast food, but I've not heard of 5% at restaurants, and you've got me really curious.
What form do the redemptions take? Statement credit? ACH deposit to your checking account? Gift cards? Other?

yeah, i don't know any card for 5% at restaurant neither. Although my prople+Visa gets me 4.5% on restaurant (redeem for travel), and amex gold gives at least 4.8% (redeem for travel). If someday freedom gives 5% on restaurant, I can use it to go with CSP (hopefully CSR by july) for 6% (7.5%).

That assumes someone can get 1.2 cpp for MRs by transferring them. Not a challenge for most regular travelers, but not a guaranteed value.
Of course, 4 MRs from Gold * 1.25 cpp from Schwab Platinum would give 5% in cash (in the form of deposits at Schwab). The gross AFs, of course (not necessarily net) would be significant. And it assumes the charge codes correctly.
I'm quite happy with 4.5% towards Chase-booked travel (or potentially more with transfers) with CSR. I get broad category definitions with that, including Uber Eats (technically travel, but still 3x).
I was thinking about getting this card myself for possible traveling and other nice factors. Is there a mobile app to access the account on your phone?
Yes, there is a mobile app.

I guess my questions are more around the "online shopping" and the streaming services. I've seen posts where some people have mentioned issues with the shopping component, but since most of mine is done either through Amazon, Best Buy or one of the major dept store websites, I doubt that I'll have the same issue. As for streaming, I tend to use the standard ones - Netflix, Hulu, iTunes, etc. I'm just wondering that, as new streaming services are launched, if they will be included. I know that's not a question you can answer, more just an observation.
I’ve had the Uber for 5 months and am happy with it and service. App process was not smooth, but they found address irregularity that wasn’t showing. I was able to correct on TU.
The app is a little antiquated, but it’s functional... No Frills. Also, no alert at time of purchase, but I went to Visa Purchase Alerts to get them.
Points post fast and accurately. I have one sub that doesn’t give 2%, that’s my Experian subscription. Only 1%. No biggie!!
My experience with CSR have been pleasant and with positive results.
