Update on AMEX Travel Incidental Credits for GCs...?

Just checking to see if anyone has had success with other airlines now that AA is a NO GO to trigger the AMEX credit. SWA maybe?

I know what other forums are saying but wanted to hear it more recently than 6 months ago.

Delta still works for me. I buy in increments of $50. Twice on the gold and 4 times on my platinum.

Delta GC still works...but only from the desktop.   Just booked DL reward and tested something called 'mileage boost'  Statement credit the day after posting.

On another AA rewards,  I also received credits for taxes / surcharges.   All small...under $50-70 each.

AA giftcards are dead for the time being. That may change in the future as this happened a while ago as well.

Upfaring a AA ticket works currently.

This is the only thing keeping me from jumping into a Platinum. Of course the perks are the main reason why I'll likely eventually get one, however i wish Amex was a little looser like Chase, when it comes to travel credits.
