Upgrading my Amex from Green to Gold

Is it difficult to get an upgrade with Amex? I currently have the Amex Green card, and I wanted to upgrade to the Gold card once my year comes which is in June. Has anyone ever had any problems with being denied for the upgrade? I don't think its going to be a HP, from my understanding.

Thanks for the info!

Any particular reason you want the gold? The regular gold (not the prg) is basically the same thing as the green with a higher AF.

Also it shouldnt be to difficult to do.

+1. There isn't much of a difference between the Green and the Gold. If you were looking for the PRG, now that's a different story.
