I just got this 255 dollar prepaid Citi debit card from Sprint many weeks after switching over to them from AT&T and I was wondering how I could use it to pay some credit card bills? The main obstacle is that it clearly says on the disclosures that I can't use the card to get cash out of an ATM or anything like that.
Check out Evolve Money, which allows you to pay certain bills with a debit card (including prepaid and gift card) free of surcharge. I believe "PayPal Buyer Credit" is one of the supported billers, so you should be able to pay your PayPal SC
Evolve doesn't support paying any major bank credit card, but if paypal sc is there (and you need to pay it!) that's a good option.
If you do this a lot, the other usual methods are the Amex offerings, serve, bluebird and redbird. You can use the gift to load at Walmart/Dollar Stores (serve), Walmart (bluebird) and Target (redbird) and then pay your credit card using the bill pay features. But it sounds like this might be a one off and you don't have those cards.
YOu can try bill pay at Walmart (and maybe Kmart and other stores). You may be able to pay directly with the card, for a small fee (under $2)
Alright guys. Thanks! I found Synchrony Bank on there and am going to try paying my Ebates card with this. Paypal SC has a 0 balance right now and has been paid so basically it's just Ebates that I have something to pay for.
Edit: Tried adding ebates and it didn't work so I'm just gonna buy an Amex Bluebird card and go from there. There's no fee with ATM withdrawals at Moneypass ATMs. I live right near a credit union that has a Moneypass ATM.

Alright. I might also consider that option. In the mean time, I opened up a Bluebird account.
