Video stating Freedom Q3 Categories - Trustworthy?

We're 3 days away from Chase revealing Q3 categories for the Freedom and I just saw this video uploaded 2 hours ago stating the Q3 categories are supposed to be the following:

Gas stations

Walgreens

Lyft

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSglnLV0ino

He said only 1 Chase rep could confirm;  even though he called multiple times, other reps didn't give him an answer. What do you guys think? Trustworthy? Good categories?

Same here. Gas is alright but Lyft and Walgreens are such odd choices. I would have hoped for Restaurants at least.

I sure do hope it is gas stations... there is a certain gas station that sells $500 visa gift cards... super easy way to hit the $1500 limit...

True but with the visa gift card activation fees you’re basically losing a percentage or two depending on how much you buy.

Looks like The Credit Card Wiz was right. Points Guy and other blogs confirmed it. I'm surprised credit wiz got that info before the other big blogs. Not the best categories. Hope Chase makes up for it in the next quarter.

Just a friendly reminder that discussion of manufactured spending is not allowed on myFICO, which would include the purchase of prepaid debit cards.  Thanks for your cooperation.

I'm also surprised that a minor player in the points and miles world scooped this story!  Looks like I'm not going to be racking up much in the way of URs this quarter.
