Visa mobile coverage question

i have a secured card with navy federal. one of the perks is mobile coverage. in the terms it says the phone bill must be paid in full for the previous month.

I paid on the 28th last month, do I have to wait 30 days before protection starts or how does this work?

While I'm often skeptical of these plans due to their broad exclusions, it looks like you've been covered since August 1st.

"Coverage begins the first day of the calendar month following a payment of the cellular wireless phone bill."

August 1st was the first day of the calendar month following your July 28th payment.
