I just checked my paper work and envelope nothing says when it was shipped. When I log into my account it comes to a page you can select the account you want to view. The first time to the Discover account it asks for the three digit security code from the back of the card. It's strange it doesn't show that when you log in. By your id if your from Texas the mail may take an extra day to get there. I know when you started this post it was a day after mine. If you posted the day you got the letter that could explain it.

I have no clue to when it shipped I got that letter in June with the cancel by July 22 date... Then my account online showed the new card listed early this month im not sure when, I haven't bothered to call asking about when it would ship. I just read this thread to get a feel for when it'll arrive.

I've only ever used my card to buy tires for the 0% promotion. I only PIF at the end of the promo. lol
The CSR I talked to about when I logged in said that the account will transfer everything over. (Meaning the electronic statements will transfer as well, no need to do that to get the free fico score.) It may show you an error at first but it will sort out in a couple of days.
That's interesting about the electronic payments, statements. As soon as I logged in it asked me if I wanted to enroll in paperless statements.its like you either had to enroll or decline to get to your account information.

I did a live chat with Walmart to answer some questions we've had posted and to ask about payments on my new account. I am attached the screenshot and I apologize that its blurry but it went from ipad to email to print to scan in order to delete personal information.
The jist of it is the following:
1. Until your account completely migrates over (1-2 billing cycles) pay the store card. The Discover card ( if it looks like mine) still does not show a balance.
2. You can use your Discover card for purchases
3. The upgrade will not effect your credit report because I did not apply for a Discover card. They will report it as transferred and the open the new card saving the history.

Good to know. I had a zero balance on my Walmart card I had to try my card at Subway last night . I checked my Discover card and it showed the purchase. I guess I will have to check if it shows on the store card. I don't plan on using it much mostly for zero interest offers. Now I'm really glad that I did it when it's not a new TL.
