*0% FIXED APR on Purchases until January 1, 2010 when you transfer a balance

Ooh, I don't like that part. Notice it makes no mention of a promotional balance transfer rate. Good luck with those 0% purchases, cause you'll be stuck with the interest for that BT! Smiley Wink

For my Real Rewards card the BT rate is the same as the non-promo purchase rate, which is 12.99%.  I agree that's how they get ya, unless you know their game and figure out how to work it like I did and others have. Smiley Wink

This card's Cash Back is good on Gas is most, then everyday purchases.
First 6 months ...
- $1000   Gas  5.5%   Everyday Purchases  0.5%   Other  0.25%
- $2000   Gas  6.0%   Everyday Purchases  1.0%   Other  0.50%
- $4000   Gas  8.0%   Everyday Purchases  3.0%   Other  0.75%
$4001 +  Gas  10%    Everyday Purchases  5.0%   Other  1.00%

How many people will spend more than $670/mo for Gas?   Not me.
No Thanks!   I stick with my Chase Freedom!!   What do you think?

Bunnyrabbit, that's not how I'm reading this.  The way I read it, the tiers are levels of annual spending for all purchases, and you get the rewards based on the annual spending tier you happen to be in at the time of the purchase.

So you don't have to spend $670 per month in gas in order to get the 10% off gas purchases.  As long as you've already spent more than $4K for the year on everything combined, you'll get 10% on future gas purchases (at least for your first 6 months).

This is the way I read it, anyway.  Like I said above, I got this offer in the mail as well, so I'll look at the fine print and see if I can find anything that might indicate I'm mistaken.

Thank you for your response cheddar.   I just noticed, I calculated wrong.  I'm sorry ... It is not $670/mo, it is $333.42 or more/mo.   Still though, this card does not work for me.  Because I use three CCs for my purchases, and I use my Chase Freedom most.  If I get this WaMu CC and use it to get 10% Reward on the Gas expenses, I am not able to get $50 Bonus Check from Chase.
