DW removed herself as an AU on an account that was nearly maxed out cause it was tanking her young profile scores. Barclaycard was the lender. She removed herself about June 15th and her CR is still showing the account and balance. Anyone have any idea how long it might report?

She may have to dispute the account with the respective CRA's to have the account removed altogether from her CR's.
Yup, you need to go the dispute route quite often to get the accounts completely removed.
Ok thank yall. She also wasn't able to get them to send her anything on paper saying she was removed. I have never done a dispute before. Will she need something on paper to send the bureaus?
Ok. Is there any chance of doing disputes over the phone?
We did a dispute through Credit Karma for Transunion. For the reason we put 'no longer liable for account'. I hope that is close enough.
By midnight the account was removed!
