like i stated in other threads.
orginally i got approved in july for 800 and asked for a cli to 3k oct 1st so less then 3 months with the card.
mind you i have other cards with 2/3k limits
i had 3% util when i asked (thats out of 10k in limits)
and only one card reporting a balance
no baddies.
just a short aaoa.
no missed no lates nothing.
Have you asked for a PC to Discover yet?
I'm thinking the Holiday season may help a little bit, if they approve a CLI, which of course I don't think they will anyway. I'm just interested if they will do it early for lower credit, since it's obvious they are VERY flexible for good credit folks such as yourself.

ive asked but since its a hard pull i declined. (since i initiated it) also would lower my aaoa way to much. im already only at 10 months.
i have no rush into getting a discover or a discover branded card at that.
my walmart fico this month was 743 so its not like i have bad credit.

Lenders are also required to consider income when granting credit limit increases. What is your family income?
+1
I wasn't aware it was on family income, I assumed it had to be mine alone...family of course isn't super hight, only $61K, but mine is only $28K.

If you are in a community property state; household income is acceptable...
Also make sure your accounts are generating statements or else you will never get an increase.

Some reason i would think for OP question :
I think you kinda attemp for the credit limit so bad thou........Its might approved for someone else but maybe not for you i guess....Everyone had a different credit profile nor credit score.......They had their own system to determinte whether or not they should give you limit increase. Maybe used them a lil bit and ask them for some meanful limit. (match your highest maybe and take whatever they offer)
They offer me 700 and call underwrite to ask for 2000 limit but they only offer me 1200. Well I take it and only thing i know for sure GE cards would grow with me quick then why should be worry ??? They not Capital One or some others crappy lenders.........maybe in 1 years you would get where you want it thou.......Credit is more about waiting for the right time. Its like a game and its all about you whether you play it right or not.
Good luck.
The reason I was given was insufficent experience at current credit limit".
No baddies, no balances on any other cards.
