, I had to share. I have had a walmart card for like 3 or 4 years now. CL has been stuck under 1K (500), recently got CLI to 650. Anyway logged in tonight to check my balance & pay card got the message I was qualified for upgrade. Said what the heck & was approved with a 2K limit...SUPER EXCITED. Last week I logged into my paypal & CL jumped from 700 to 1900.

Congrats GE will def take care of you when you have a good relationship with them. I as well went from wal mart card to the discover with a good increase as well. And when they did that I pulled the trigger a week after that and applied for the Paypal Mastercard and approved for a $3,000 credit line. which is great cause you get 3 times points for gas and resteraunts. My Fico score was 695 when i applied. Again congrats and get ready to see much larger increases with the discover card from what i hear,

Just out of curiousity, have you had any recent changes to your CRs? Then again, GE does like a good history with them.
When i first get the walmart store card my scores was around the 620s I know when they changed my card my score broke the 690 not sure if that helped. But other then that i only had a few inquiries drop off taking me down to 3 on trans. Didnt affect my score at all though.
