Was out of town and forgot the Amex bill. Luckily had the account setup to pay the minimum payment on my everyday card. That feature is a life saver so I highly recommend it. I made a larger payment when I realized it but the minimum kept it all in good standing and by the time I noticed it things would have been a few days late.
If you have the budget for it, you can also have it PIF for you, or make a specified payment every month (e.g., $100), to make sure you're covered. It's a great feature!
Yeah its a great feature. I'm getting close to the 6 month mark on the everyday card credit increase so a late payment would cancel that out in sure. Seems like I got the card in April and then 60 day increase in June so my 6 months should be in December. Will have to look for sure.
