You don’t have to get a gift card. I opted for checks in the mail. I don’t have a checking account with them either. But it was definitely after 3 billing cycles.

Makes some sense. Its suppose to be 1k in 3 months so they probably expect that and time it accordingly. Just would be nice if they gave it faster like Amex
