Yeah.. I would definitely say 7 is too many.
Perhaps for the OP, but I would disagree on the premise that if someone is able to fully utilize or maximize the rewards and/or benefits of that many Chase CCs (inclusive of offsetting any AFs), then that's up to the individual how they manage said # of CCs.
On the upside, as far as Chase CCs go, if the OP (or any individual) is faced with needing to cull the herd, closing and reallocating CLs to other useful products is fairly seamless.
