I did two credit apping sprees - one in 04/2008 and the other in 09/2008. almost time for a third but i am bringing my balances down first. anyway the results of these apping sprees were as follows:

April 2008:

BofA Amex Accelerated Rewards $ 7500

Discover More $ 3000

HSBC Platinum $ 2500

Amex Hilton Honors $ 2500

Spiegel $ 500

and then in September 2008:

Redstone Federal Credit $ 5000 

Kay Jewelers $ 3000

Jared Jewelers $ 3000 

Bloomingdales Store Card $ 2500

Macy's Store Card $ 2100 

Capital One Platinum $ 1500

CFNA Firestone $ 1400

Chase Platinum $ 500

Best Buy $ 450 (Closed this card last month - crappy limit / high interest)

Now, i have not done a credit app spree since then but i have asked for a Macy's visa and a Bloomingdales Visa Card. The next App spree is scheduled for .... lol .... end of September, that is when i want some Citi, Nordstrom, GEMB, Juniper (barclays) products .... any suggestions would be appreciated !!!!

two jewelry cards - whats your goal exactly with your credit - you have alot of cards and a mix of cards - wat are you trying to do with apping sprees ?

well, the idea is to get a gas card - and basically something from every major bank so that i can have myself in with them. it does not have to be anything particular. the two jewelry cards are for buying stuff for my female friends; that reminds me to get a victoria's secret card. i dont know why but i enjoy the company of female friends.
