Yes, but my point was that if you want cards like the Cash+, you shouldn't be worrying about applying for a PNC card that is identical to the Costco card you already have (4% gas, 3% dining...same thing). The only difference is 2% on groceries with the PNC, and 2% categories don't mean much since you can get 2% on anything. Outside of a sign up bonus for the PNC I just can't see a reason to sign up for it, and I think it's fine to recommend that the OP not apply for this card in the interest of getting cards that offer more benefit to them above what they already have. The PNC card is just wasting a 1/12 slot and US Bank is not budging much on the 1/12 thing lately.
In the end, the choice is theirs. Regardless, have not seen a ton of data on the PNC card. IIRC, they are fairly conservative.

PNC is far from conservative compared to US bank, Chase or Regions among many others.
In all fairness you have to have a strong thick profile with PNC or an existing relationship with them to get a card and not been major credit seeking from what i have seen to get one of their cards a newer thin profile with alot of new cards will most likely be a denial without a banking relationship. Granted as mentioned banks like US Bank and Chase are alot more strick than PNC, but many banks are alot less strick than PNC as well, they kinda fall into imho the Citi category. Some people cant get citi cards despite very good score due to inquiries and new account although citi just likes some people especially people they already have a relationship with despite my hunger for credit i have yet to be turned down for a PNC or Citi card. So a bit of YMMV where-as UsBank has told my to kick sand which is fine and Chase probably would like to tell me to do the same although i put a decent amt of spend through them so they tolerate me and might throw me a pre-qual on a card every few years and leave my other cards to be untouched probably due to the AF's

I was thinking the same about PNC. Citi was the first bank that came to mind in relation to being conservative.
All of these banks play favorites depending on profiles. Kinda of weird at times.
Having dealt with so many much more conservative. PNC's conservatism seems weak in comparison. lol
I may have to test the theory and burn another TU pull on US bank 7 already
. While some have been denied with 1 or 2 accounts in 12 months.
I obtained all of my US bank accounts(5) in less than a 1.5 year span. I've seen several other members here do the same. Not sure what's up with that either?
Because it goes totally against the 1/12 I see posted in the forums.
@Gmood1 US Bank made changes to UW in February of 2019, then made them even stricter couple of months later.
If your cards predate February 2019, that's why.
All of my US bank tradelines except one was after Jan of 2019. First one was Nov/Dec of 2018. Two of them were in Jan of 2019. One fell towards the end of 2019. And the last was in Feb of 2020.

Yep there are exceptions to every rule.. If a lender likes/wants you they will make exceptions as nothing is set in stone in the lending world such as @Mahraja breaks down barriers that are near impossible, but they see spend on all his cards near max and paid off and they want a piece of that action.
I have no issues getting more money from them on existing cards, but if I apply for Connect once it's out, they would shoot me down like weather balloon over Roswell.
Too bad, I really want that SUB.
I agree @CreditCuriosity . Mahraja isn't quite human.😆😆
Sure sure, they'd give it to you.
Fireballs don't pay parking tickets, speeding tickets and they surely won't get denied by US bank.😉

Allegedly, $500.00 will only be available at launch, but when applying in person.
I suppose it's only fitting that my first denial happens in front of audience
