What are the best addresses to send GW letters to for Bank of America and Capitol One?

I know that there are some "back line" numbers that people in banks call when they really want to get results in their own organizations.  Can anyone tell me, or give me a reference, to the best contact to send goodwill letters to for Bank of America VISA and Capital One MasterCard?

Thanks.

Between my wife and I, we sent PFD and GW letters multiple times to about 6 addresses for Capital One. Each RR for the PFD, no matter where it got sent to, was redirected to their Salt Lake City address. Each GW response came from the same address. FYI...none worked.

Monty, I'm not sure about BoA, but Cap1 is notorious for playing hardball when it comes to GW'ing for lates.

But I did see one post by someone who called their backdoor number, and spoke to an acct. specialist, and they agreed to GW some lates.

I would think the older a late is, the better chance you have at getting it removed, if you've had none over the past year or so.

Good luck to you. Please let us know how you fared. Smiley Happy

I just read some literature provided by a credit repair advice company (which I found on eBay) and they recommend sending GW letters to the President of the company.  If that doesn't work, they said send it to the CEO, and if that doesn't work, send it to the whole board of directors.  The idea is to let them know that you are not going to go away.

They said you can find out who and where that is by looking up their SEC filings online (haven't tried it yet, but sounds promising).

I had a couple little tiffs with AT&T and Washington Mutual a couple years back and I got results both times by writing to the President, but I also had a really good legal argument on my side.
