Something like Sears mastercard 10x offers but permanent would get my loyalty. Square cash debit with cash boost comes really close to that ideal card scenario for me.

I didn’t know about the Cash Boost, thanks for the heads up!
3% with no annual fee and no foreign transaction fee. It would need to be Visa or Mastercard.
On everything you buy, 4%.
5% since I make good use of the Chase/Disco categories (I buy gift cards from drug stores, grocery stores, or whatever the category is as well). As others have noted, lack of travel protections would be a deal breaker.
If the USAA Limitless ever came out in my state I probably would've just stopped there and closed a few cards down. It is really freaking close...2.5% cash back, no caps, no FTF, no AF, Visa network, middle of the road CC benefit/protections, issued by a rock solid bank.
Funny you mention Citi AJC I just closed my Citi DC last night and actually kind of flipped on them on the phone for the first time in my whole life. It was Friday night, I started online chat they said they couldn't do it I had to call a number...I thought that was weird so I called the number. Automated system couldn't do it so they had to put me on hold for over 20 minutes with no call back available or anything before the line disconnected on me... So I called back and got put back on hold for another 15 minutes until a guy picks up and tries his hardest for 5 minutes to try and explain me that I must not know what I am doing!
I was as patient as humanly possible until I finally just told him that the card was great and I have no bad blood with Citi, but this conversation was really starting to piss me off and give me a bad taste in my mouth. Card was promptly closed.
Sorry to derail thread, but I had to tell that to someone.

Has the State Department FCU card replaced the Citi Double Cash as your daily driver?
