What bureau does Walmart use for app in FL?

I know I need a store card on my credit since I only have installments and 3 CC. I was not sure if my scores were high enough to apply for Walmart, JCP or Dillards. I got approved for Capital One 300CL offer last wk and my scores have improved alot because I was at 515EQ, 525TU in March 2011.  My current scores are 573-EQ (fico).. 624 TU(fico) and 612 EX-vantage.

tu. its pretty easy to get a walmart card. you don't need the discover version to get the free tu fico score.

I got a Walmart retail card when my FICO was sub-600.  It started out with a really low balance, but they let you ask for CLI every four months and now it's up to $875.  It's a great way to rebuild your credit.  It's great because they give you a free TU score every month plus you can take out cash advances at the same APR as regular transactions.  That helped me a lot when I moved for a new job.

thanks so much for all the replies...I think i am gonna wait about 2 more months before I apply because i got a capital one card about a week ago and also this week I got about 7 inq because i was trying to trade in my vehicle. I dont want them to think I am trying to get too much credit too soon and my scores just started to increase.

Walmart used TU and I'm around 640 right now and was approved for 400.

DH applied online (grudgingly) so he could get the TU and it said he had to wait 7-10 days.  Haven't heard yet.  he's about 640/650 right now (i think).

thanks, my TU is only 624 so I may just wait until my credit cards update the balances I just paid down. I think that should atleast boost me up 15pts. I went from 64% to 39% util
