Re: What cards are in your dream wallet?

My dream wallet is similar to what I've already got, except with my secured cards graduated and CLIs flowing and editing out the non-rewards cards (which will be in the next year or so). I happen to be pretty happy with what I have.

+1

I picked up the remaining cards I wanted earlier this year, including everything in my signature (minus the Venture) plus several that are not shown 5% cards (Sallie Mae, Freedom, Discover, Cash+, BBVA NBA) and credit unions (NFCU & PenFed). Depending on where I am in life if I ever receive a Centurion invite I just might consider it.

Re: What cards are in your dream wallet?

Thinking on it now, I reckon I already have, as of a few weeks ago, secured my dream cards, minus one which is upcoming - (Chase Ink). However, my dream wallet (wallet listed in signature) discludes the BCE, USAA Platinum Visa, and Chase Slate.

Like many others, I'm all about building my credit lines a bit higher and establishing a decent AAoA. Also, like many others, I too would pounce at the chance to create the "ideal card(s).

Re: What cards are in your dream wallet?

For my current spending, I think I'm maximizing my rewards about as much as possible and am grateful that I already have my 'dream wallet'.. If things change, I may add.. like if I do more travelling may consider a travel card such as an AMEX Platinum.. or when I become a homeowner may get something like a Lowes card.. for now this works great for me:

PCMCU Platinum Rewards Mastercard for 5% on up to $1000/ month on any purchases.. I use it for rent, utilities, recurring bills @ right around $1000/ mo.

Fleet Farm Rewards Signature Visa for 4% on any FF putchase, mainly my ethanol free mid grade for my car.

Costco Citi Visa for 4% any other fuel, 3% travel and dining, and 2% @ Costco.

AMEX BCE for 3% groceries (girlfriend does most of this and mostly at Walmart, so BCP doesnt make sense just yet)

Discover It and Chase Freedom Signature Visa @ 5% on rotating categories

Citi Double Cash World Elite Mastercard for 2% on everything else

The JPMorgan Reserve is almost exactly the same CSR card. Same benefits. Anyone who holds CSR can be consider a $10MM person!

I have a JPM Reserve, and I certainly don't have $10M dollars.  I don't even bank with Chase, I just have their credit cards.  I had a JPM Select card, and found out I could PC it to the JPM Reserve, so I did! Smiley Happy
