Re: What do you ACTUALLY carry in your wallet?

The couple of extra bucks from carrying numerous credit cards is not worth keeping them in my wallet. In terms of payment cards, I have 1 debit and 2 credit. Occasionally I would add another card, but no more.

Re: What do you ACTUALLY carry in your wallet?

I carry Chase Freedom, CSP, United Club Visa, also Amex PRG, BCP and SPG. Right now I mainly use the CSP so I can get the 40,000 points if I spend 3000 in 3 months.

Right Now It's

US Bank Cash + (Restaurants, Bill Pay)

CSP (Dining)

AMEX BCP (Groceries)

AMEX PRG (Gas)

Barclays NFL Visa (meeting spend requirement)

UMB

Alliant

Discover, Freedom, and Dividend are SD'd as their bonus categories are not real appealing this quarter

Why would you use the PRG for gas and only get 2 points per dollar spent when you could get 3% cash back with the BCP?

Re: What do you ACTUALLY carry in your wallet?

chase debit

chase freedom (anything $10 or under; maxed out cap on Q4 things. sadly enough, had to put a hotel on the amex for the 2% instead because of the $1500 cap)

discover it (replacing citi forward in Q1 2013)

fidelity amex (2%)

penfed platinum rewards (gas/groceries)

citi forward (restaurants)

driver's license obviously

covers pretty much everything i need on a daily basis.
