I also closed a 22k Venture and 19.5k Discover last year because it didn't fit my reward plan and really  how much open credit does one need.

Highest CL: BOA CR $50,000 - stayed at SL of $7500 for years before I started playing around with this forum and have bumped it up through 4 CLIs this past year - only usage is a BT that's been sitting on account since after the first CLI

Highest SL: $30k Venture - had a history with Cap One going back 10 years but rarely used the QS which was originally a Platinum card I think

I understand what you're saying about the combinng of credit limits and such. It's merely a survery--and it could also help anyone with struggling or bad credit (such as myself almost 3.5 years ago when I joined this forum) who are serious about being responsible and rebuilding see what can be achieved.
