What score/ stats needed for CSP?

Chase is big on looking at history with them as well.  My Walmart TU Fico score is hovering around 680, and I got approved for CSP for $5k less than a month ago, appd for the BofA 123 and was completely declined.  I got a Freedom in January 2012 at the $500 limit, got an Amazon Chase Visa in December of 2012, and in February I was in the branch and pre approved for the CSP.  So if you can get your foot in the door with Chase on a Freedom or Slate, use the card responsibly, in a year your likely to get approved for CSP.

Oh, I have Freedom and Slate lol.
$5k Freedom is almost maxed though due to 0% for 15 mos lol Two closed Slates from 07&08. Never missed any payments ever!!

Does the pre approval thing on the site match what they would have in the branch?

Next month I am going to walk into a branch and apply. I dont have an account though.

I didn't have pre approvals via the website, but I had a pre approval showing when I went into the branch.  More likely you will have a pre approval in the branch even if it doesn't show it online.
