What to apply for?

Hey guys,

I'm new here (been lurking for awhile), but you all seem really knowedgable about cards, so I thought I would ask your advice. I'm looking for a new card to apply for that has a higher limit than some of my other ones, I'm a Sophomore in college with a full-time job where I make ~$40,000 a year. I have an AMEX Blue Cash Everyday Card with a 2k limit, a Chase Amazon Rewards Card with a 1k limit and a credit union $500 secured card. Having a higher limit would help with my utilization as it currently hovers around 30%, but ideally I'd like it a bit lower. My score is around 670 right now due to a Macbook that I purchased last month that bumped my utilization way up temporarily. Anyone have any ideas for cards?

Thanks!

AMEX Platinum Gold - NPSL | Citi ThankYou Premiere 20k | NASA Platinum Rewards - 20k | Alaska Airlines Visa Signature - 5k x 5 (Not sure why I needed 5.... but still....) | Amex Blue Cash Everyday - 21K | Chase Sapphire Preferred - 15K | Ritz Carlton Card - 10k | Chase Freedom Visa Signature - 5k | BECU Visa - 3k |Barclaycard Rewards - 2k | Chase Amazon Rewards - 1k | Discover IT Student - 500 | Chase Slate - 500 | Walmart Store Card - 700 | BBY CitiBank - 1500 | BBY CitiBank -1000

Re: What to apply for?

Do that before applying for any new cards. Your AAoA is low and you should try to garden so that your AAoA increases before adding any new accounts.

Re: What to apply for?

The current utilization on the AMEX is 17%, I could pay that off right now though, I just keep it on there since it's 0% right now.
