I have been rebuilding for a while.....my cc line up currently include a creditone bank-550 CL...a cap 1 QS - 500 CL....a Cap 1 QS 1800- and a barclay-average for 1300....i am really wanting to get one more card with a decent limit before i turn out the lights on the Credit1....myfico EQ is 766...TU 08 is 780...not really sure about ex.....the barclay and one of the QS cards are new....i should probably wait, but I really want to try to pull the trigger one time.....i am looking for advice about which I should app for...i am looking at a great chance for approval and a card that has the potential to grow maybe to 10K in the next few years....I appreciate it!
CORRECTION!!!! my scores are 677 and 680....NOT 766 and 780!!! haha
Check all the pre approval sites. If you want a 10k line I would suggest a local cu they tend to be more generous. Credit lines however are a little overrated. Yes its nice to have but id take better rewards any day over a limit.
What are your spending patterns (restaurants, gas, grocery, online shopping, department stores)?
we dont eat out much....fair amount of gasoline...most of my shopping is at walmart....also, i dont currently pay any bills on cc, but am thinking about starting to pay all my bills that i can on cc and pif....
Sorry, I did not see your utilization, my strategy would be to bring down utilization to less than 10% then ask for CLI on the card that you think will give you the best chance of reaching $5000.00 then go for AMEX BCE... once you get that your doors are wide open

Why not go for the Walmart Discover or Walmart store card? The Walmart Discover is converting to a Walmart Mastercard at some point in the summer. If the rewards are anything like the Sam's Club Mastercard, it would probably fit your needs fairly well. And even if you got the store card, it could upgrade at a later time.

As long as you don't have bills that have a service charge for paying with CC, you should! May as well take advantage of the rewards on your QS cards!
thanks for the advice!!
Sallie Mae MC might be a good card for you. 5% on grocery and gas up to $250 each month.
