Was it fees, CLD's, CLI's, rate increases and closure of accounts? Was it a new credit card you always wanted and got approved for it? Was it a change of unrequested due date? Was it a high unexpected initial credit limit and etc.?
My biggest shocker was reaching my $20,000 total credit card limit goal.
I've had several eye openers since I joined this forum...most of them positive.
My biggest shocker was when I was approved for my own Discover with a $13,140 CL...especially after being declined originally. I surprised myself that I had the courage to call for reconsideration...state my case...and have it turn out positively. (My husband's biggest shocker was likely that I got a $13,140 CL, since he has had his Discover since 1987 and has a CL of $11,800...and, I'm in school. Go figure...)
I thank everyone in this forum and wish everyone a very happy new year.
rate increases on my credit cards. they are all jacked up!! just kidding.
not all of them, but a few went up.
For me...it was the approval for the 10k Nationwide card. cc unrelated shocker...when I realized I could join NFCU without help from anyone!
All my limits went up this year & I didn't have 1 rate jack either! So far, it's been a good year!!
