Re: What would you want in your credit card resume

I don't think it really matters as long as it is a prime lender.

Re: What would you want in your credit card resume

I beliieve it should be the cards that help you get what you want the most.  With that being said at our house : Amex BC, BCP, Citi DC, Disco, Cap 1 QS, Sams Card (for quick cash   of $20)   and a Murphy Gas Card (FNBO)   We don't fly much. With our set up 6% grocery rebate, 3% gas  2% everything else  .  We love Disco deals and the quarterly bonus 5% and max those out many times.   We still have back up like Cap 1 QS.     Biz Spark card soon to be replaced either Amex Simply Cash or Chase Ink .

Thanks to everybody for your input.

I am looking to app for my first Amex card in the next few weeks

as soon as I can get my utilization down just a litttle bit more.

I have my eye on the Amex ED card for the reward points.

Myself and my wife dont fly much, and the cash back cards are great,

but we have more fun loading up on points esp from retailers that offer

multipliers if you buy at certain stores like CVS and Lowes.

I will also be apping for a disco card once my ED card is in hand !   Smiley LOL

The Amex ED is a nice entry level MR card.  I just wish the points earning rate wasn't so skimpy compared to others.

Re: What would you want in your credit card resume

I was opening a second bank account in my city and for some unknown

reason chose to open a saving account with Wells Fargo.

I am no longer using that account since I found out how crappy their

credit card products are.

I never see anyone in the community drooling over the cards that they offer !

I have heard alot of horror stories about this bank and how they dont really seem

to care about their customers.

Between BOA and Chase,

Which bank has the best customer service and is also good

with limit increases ?

I have a friend that had a BOA checking account and he always complained about

the fees that they charged him.

Re: What would you want in your credit card resume

Wells Forgo certainly isn't on my list. I didn't think their products were hard to get...heck didn't they give them to a bunch people without even asking.

Disco and Amex top my list...but honestly in the grand scheme I don't think it matters much at all. My thoughts are, any lender that is that picky about what I may or may not have in my profile is probably picky about other things...so not someone deserving of my business.
