and one card great for everyday purchases either Barclay's or Cap 1Quicksilver

My Ideal Wallet-

Amex BCE- My gas card when I'm not using my BOFA Cash Rewards card. Also would be used for everyday purchases

Marriott Premier- Most of the time when I travel, I almost always stay with Marriott and could use it for future travel stays.

Chase Freedom- Already got this card, currently am using it for Gas this quarter but it will become my everyday purchase card once this quarter is over. Also used for the 5% period.

Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus- Already got this card as well, and is generally used as my card for larger purchases...for now. Also used for non-category spend as well.

Citi AAdvantage Plat Select- I fly on AA as well, and it would be a good fit for me since the last few times I have flown with AA.

So generally I would SD my Discover and Forward cards and close out my PRG. And then the rest of the cards would be my Ideal wallet/combo.

Us bank cash +  eating out and pharmacy

Penfed VISA Platinum Cash Reward 5% gas .

I've pretty much apped for every card I've wanted, so as of right now I'm working with these in my wallet:

Discover IT - for 5% on Gas

Citi Forward  - for 5% on Dining, Amazon, Bookstores (and Groceries/Gas/Drugstores/Commuter Expenses until 9/30) - I also keep it b/c I need one Visa in my wallet on the rare chance Disc/Amex isn't accepted + 9.99 APR

Citi TY Preferred - general spend until I hit $1500 for bonus TY Points, then SD.  

Amex BCP - Groceries, Dept Stores, and General Spend after I hit TY spend amount - is my daily driver due to 0% APR

If I were to apply for another card, it would be the Sallie Mae card, and downgrade the BCP to BCE. Maybe

What's my combo ??...combo meal #4 from Wendy's.

But yeah. Either freedom or IT for the 5% Amex for this and that, but it's disc 90% of the time for the unlimited 1% cash back.

CSP and Freedom. For mostly everything. In about 3-4 months I'm going for the BCP just for groceries.
