When does a new account become a year old

Hi Fico Forum!

I have a question that may sound like a stupid question, but according to FICO scoring, when does an account become 1 year old? Is it the beginning of the month it was opened or the beginning of the next month. For instance, lets say I opened an account last August. For FICO scoring purposes, would it reach the year mark in August or September?

If the bank reported it to your credit on the 1st of aug when the account was opened and they report your balance to credit on the 1st each month, it should be 1 year in aug after it reports for the 12th time on the 1st
