Can't buy PBR either.

I quess I'm Mod Cut drink Bud Light and only Bud Light. I like it and it's cheap and almost always on sale. Hey, you can't beat $8.99 / 18 pack.
Amex only likes you if you purchase yuengling or blue moon.
Back on topic......Seriously, IMO AMEX doesn't care where you use their cards. They actually want you to swipe it everywhere you can, they make money that way....

Big +1 to this. I can't believe some people get so paranoid with Amex.
My first two Amex purchases were from McDonald's and Taco Bell. No issues here.
AMEX doesn't know what you buy. They only see a $x.xx purchase from Walmart.
I shop at Walmart, have shopped at Marshall's before, and my mortgage was with Countrywide (I think) before they got bought out by BofA. Now it's with BofA, obviously. I didn't even know Countrywide was a subprime lender. My mortgage was sold to Countrywide, and it's anything but a subprime loan.
My ACM uses his card at Walmart, so far no issues for either one of us.
About the only place I wouldn't use an Amex is a furniture/electronics rental place such as Aaron's. I have heard of at least one FR where Amex quoted the fact that they used their card to rent furniture and that matched a high risk profile.

Wow, rental furniture, who would have thought that was considered high risk
Hopefully no one on this board is willing to pay those usurious prices for furniture.
