Which AMEX card is the easiest to get

I want to join the Amex Family. I wanted to know which card is the easiest to get approved for.  Also, charge vs credit card easier?  Let me know.

Experian - 531
Transunion - 540
Equifax - 533

Re: Which AMEX card is the easiest to get

all charge cards have the same underwiting, choose the one that meet your needs. they are the easiest to get because they are essentially a 30 day loan  decent income + a 650 EX fico and 6 months history with a major credit card

Credit cards are harder so if you are on the boaderline start with charge, to show your trust worthy,  680+ EX fico  and 6+ month history with a major credit card and good income.

Cards: Chase Southwest 20k & CSR 17k & CSP 10k & FNBO 30k Oregon Duck 5k, & AMEX BCP 32.5k & Amex Magnet 15k&amg; Hilton Surpass 7.5k & Delta Gold 12k & Zync NPSL, Fidelity AMEX 17k Commerce5.9k & Cash Forward 7.5k & Sams Club MC 20k, Paypal Extras MC 10k, Paypal Credit 7.25k CapOne Venture 15k, QS 2.5k, QS 750, Amazon 10k, Walmart 10k, Citi Simplicity 18k, Discover IT 23k and a nice stack of store cards.

Re: Which AMEX card is the easiest to get

Charge cards tend to have more lenient UW standards. They say if you're approved for a charge you can go for a revolver immediately afterwards and only take 1 HP. YMMV though.

If the Experian score in your signature is accurate you need to wait to apply for any American Express card.  It needs to be about 100 points higher and you need to get your inquiries way down

Is that the score they check?  Also, they allow you to have more than one card with them?

Not sure what the rest of your profile looks like, but your Experian is both too low (a good 100 points or so) and has a ton of inquiries. I'd estimate you need to wait 6-12 months and re-evaluate then.

Re: Which AMEX card is the easiest to get

Delta Gold is probably the easiest revolver to get... I did a google search with that exact question and was pointed to that card in multiple threads on this forum and others.

Instant approval in December 2014 for $5k... no new accounts and INQs in a year.  EX FICO was 680.

I have been unable to secure a CLI due to my 6+ year old Ch 13 still on my reports.  I did cash in the bonus miles on a free trip that I am taking next week... Seattle to NYC for a week.

The card is my least used CC... no real incentive to get the Delta miles but I'm in the door with AmEx at least.

FICO8 current as of : 4-6-25 EQ: 736 TU: 728 EX: 722
Hard INQs last 12 months: EQ: 0 | TU: 0 | EX: 0
Verizon Visa $8500 Amex Delta Reserve $10,000 Care Credit $18,000
NFCU CashRewards $7500 Apple Card $7000 Best Buy $8000 Amazon $5000

NFCU motorcycle loan (2024 Harley Davidson Road Glide - Alpine Green & Chrome) 9.45%
