The web site Doctor of Credit has been running an interesting series lately, It focuses on a different credit card issuer each time and does its best to assess what credit bureau that issuer is most likely to pull. Here is the latest article (this time on US Bank):

Yep. They seem to be just putting it into a table for people to look at. They also seem to add guidance about issues related to freezing. E.g. will this issuer be willing to pull from another burea if their primary bureau is frozen by you? Are there certain CRAs it makes sense to freeze when applying for a card from this issuer? Etc.

I know you only reciting what was posted on the DoC site but the discussion of freezing a particular credit bureau to force a potential creditor to pull another is prohibited on these forums.
