I am currently looking for a better MasterCard. I am not a big spender, don't travel often, cash rewards is better for me.
My major spending are groceries, gas and eat out at times. I will apply next year though, since my FICO scores are around 710ish across the board.
I want to wait till 800ish before I apply.
So, besides Sallie Mae, which one(s) will you recommand?

I have no experience with these cards but from a quick little search these cards may be a good fit for you:
Fifth Third Preferred Card -
Earn Double Real Life Rewards℠ Points for Every $1 Spent on Dining, Travel, Gas and Grocery Purchases
Fifth Third Cash Rewards -
Earn 1% on purchases
2% cash back for every $1 spent on gas, grocery, and discount stores
Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard -
Earn 1 point per $1 spent on purchases
Earn 2 points per $1 spent on gas, groceries and utilities, 1 point per $1 spent elsewhere
SAMs Club
Thank you both for the info.
If you don't mind me asking, why is the Sallie Mae card not an option?
If you're in their banking region (Midwest?), you might look at the Huntington Voice card (no AF, no FTF, 3x points on one category of your choosing and 1 point on everything else):

Looks to me Sallie Mae would be your best bet
Sallie Mae and Sam's seem to be the most popular.
